/ Our Rooms
Our rooms offer a modern and spacious place to relax. A mix of options are available for our motel studios. All rooms have free wifi, a smart TV and a self-contained kitchen with a microwave and cooktop. With USB charging outlets, 6 selected Sky channels and free view tv, you’ll feel right at home. We are a non-smoking property and have off-street parking. We offer rooms with wheelchair access and most rooms can also accommodate a rollaway bed.

We’ve designed The Metrotel with our guests in mind. We worked closely with our architects to ensure that all of our guests’ needs are covered. This means spacious rooms with self-contained kitchens so you are fully equipped. It means a funky vibe throughout the space because we believe in creating a different kind of experience for you.

With varied rooms types, you’ll find one for every type of trip – leisure or business, family, groups or a couple. We have guest laundry facilities and we are energy-efficient too. Central
We are located in New Plymouth’s CBD. Enjoy parking the car for your stay and walking to a wide range of cafes, restaurants, shops and attractions. The Coastal Walkway is only a block away, as is the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, the Wind Wand and Puke Ariki. It’s a great sized CBD to explore conveniently by foot.
The airport is a quick 15-minute drive and the bus terminal is within walking distance. For business travelers, we are nearby many major businesses which makes it easy to get around for meetings. Rated by Lonely Planet as the second-best region to visit in the world, Taranaki is a 4.5 hour drive from Auckland or Wellington.
